Amy Stephson’s broad experience as an employment investigator, advisor, and trainer has given her deep insight into and understanding of the challenges facing individuals as they navigate the world of work. She brings this to her coaching of executives, managers & supervisors, and other employees. She also brings her own experience as a business owner to her coaching of small business owners. Coaching is a cost-effective way to develop and retain employees. Amy helps clients determine objectives, develop skills, and identify external and internal barriers to success. She helps clients stay on track by working with them to set

goals, plan, and create structures for action. Amy gives clients the one-on-one attention and problem-solving focus that training, and even mentoring, simply cannot match. Coaching is also very convenient: after an initial in-person session, the coach and client usually meet by telephone.

With effective coaching, an employee can achieve needed change faster and better than he or she would if working alone. Certified coaches are bound by a code of ethics, thus ensuring sensitivity to issues such as confidentiality and conflicts of interest.
